A flavonoid derivative of isoquercitrin may help put the brakes on the signs of photoaging in skin, according to a study in Photochemistry and Photobiology. In the 28-day clinical trial, volunteers aged 31–55 years who used enzymatically modified isoquercitrin (EMIQ) showed reduced facial trans-epidermal water loss and skin roughness, alongside improved skin elasticity.
