I have found that esthetics and nursing overlap the most in dermatologist’s offices, hospitals, and/or medical spas. Where have you found these two industries overlap the most?

She didn’t tell anyone that she applied to an esthetics school that was an hour away from her home until she was accepted. She was diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia on June 8, 2022, but she still graduated from esthetics school on August 2, 2022. She felt a huge nudge to do it and hoped her background would help and it did.

From a young age I always had a passion for esthetics and knew that I wanted to be in the health and beauty industry. So that’s how I dove into skincare and went to esthetics school. It’s a hypercustomized hydrafacial treatment using Circadia products and includes dermaplaning and a sculptural facial massage.

Do esthetics schools offer help with job placement? What direction do you see the esthetics industry moving in? If I’m interested in an esthetics career, what’s a good way to gain more insight into the field? Attend trade shows that showcase every aspect of esthetics! Most of them 100 percent do.

What inspired you to start an esthetics business? I would get my lashes and waxing services done faithfully and I fell in love with the instant gratification of getting those services done. If you offer waxing, get waxed. That means I have made a career out of esthetics – not just a hobby.
