I really wanted to learn more about the science of skincare, and after that job, I went to an actual MedSpa that had lasers and needed an esthetician. I then got an opportunity through a friend, who was a brand rep for Cosmedix, at a doctor’s office in Manhattan, which led to another opportunity, through another friend, in San Francisco.

His studio is outfitted with chic style and décor and during treatments Healy forgoes wax and relies on tweezers to get the job done. Wax he states is great for other parts of the body but not for the brows. Healy focuses on technique, marketing and branding in the one-on-ones. Differences in price are based on the instructor.
