GPs see inflammatory skin disease even less than they see skin lesions and thus distinguishing between eczema and psoriasis or acne and rosacea can produce difficulties. Let us not also forget the benefit in diagnoses of inflammatory dermatological conditions. With later diagnoses and interventions, outcomes are of course worsened.
